I think they were just doing that to call to other Afflicted for help. Watch them next time; they run and come back with reinforcements. :P

I use "You've been hit by, you've been struck by", since my pvp char is A Smooth Criminal. I only use it when the other guy talks big though, other than that I don't do it much.

Vent is always the most funny place for battlecryes...

one of the most used (even though I don't know if it's a battlecry xD)
is:

"IH-IH-IH-RAWR!"

On vent it's freaking hilarious

I took that to heart and said:

"By the Nine Divines, Assault!"

then promptly used Return. The guy and everyone else in the mob attacking me was too busy wondering about the battlecry to notice I used return and then spent another 15 seconds running after me at half speed under crippling ^^
